Shannon Burton, SXI

Based in New Orleans, Shannon is a proud graduate of the Institute's sex coach certification program, which she completed in 2021. Since then, she has built a thriving sex coaching business—initially focused on women's libido and orgasm, but since expanded to encompass women's sexual empowerment and holistic liberation in sexuality, business, and finance.

 

Author of Six-Figure Sex Pro, Shannon encourages all fellow "sex nerds" to transform their deep passion for sexuality into fulfilling, impactful careers.

 

In 2025, Shannon took on the pivotal role of Executive Director, succeeding the Institute's original founder, Melissa Jones. She's proud to bring everything she's learned as a professional in the field to current and future SXI sex coaches.
